Meet coach Dani.

I believe fitness and skills fluctuate over time. There are moments when you are learning and growing, and there are others where you are at your best. Whatever stage of your fitness or cycling journey, I’m here to support you.

My cycling journey began in 2010 after my parents forced me to join a ride in Hershey, Pennsylvania. I was a pain (and a punk) about it and wouldn't even wear a helmet. We had such a great time; I bought a bike as soon as I got home. After a few century rides, two bikes, and 70 pounds lost, I decided to try racing. During my five years of racing, I earned a category-1 road license, won a California State Criterium Championship, and got to race the Amgen Tour of California’s Women’s Criterium. Since then, I've moved away from racing and expanded my riding to include mountain and gravel.

As I reflected on my time racing, I enjoyed most mentoring Early Birds and Velo Girls clinics, which helped women get into cycling. To further increase women's representation in the sport, I founded Kind Rides Cycling.

As a new coach and a queer woman, I aim to help women cyclists gain confidence and have fun with their riding by creating a supportive and judgment-free environment for them to learn.
